Hear My Truth

Now what I’m saying is straight you cannot say it was a mistake that one night I did get raped. He heard me cry he heard me scream but he didn’t care as long as I was on my knees. I looked left and right but there was no one to help me in my sight. I try to say these words so loud today so no little girl has to go through that hard pain you may say that what I have spoken does not stand a chance to that white man’s Big Christmas bonus. Or to that guy who wanted to say hi and to my opened mind I foolishly decided to give him my time . Now I do not share the stories for you to shed a tear I share theses stories for the ones that still hide in fear. Now you might say that sometimes girls play games, But there was no game when I was running and screaming to make the pain go away. Yet to him I was still a prize another notch on the belt another trophy on the shelf another tear down the drain of the make up that those women wiped away after that night where they saw so much fright not in his eyes but in his soul when he said that he wouldn’t let them go.
