I Wish

I wish I knew what others thought

I wish that people would be kind

I wish people would rule the world, not one another

I wish the peace would last not just stay for a little visit

I wish the bad would keep away and the good would stay and keep me company

I wish that I knew what the world held in store

I wish I knew how to handle struggles

I wish I could keep my life good and protected

I wish I didn’t have challenges

I wish I knew what to do

I wish I never let others down

I wish I never had to shed a tear

I wish I didn’t stress didn’t worry

I wish that pure good existed

I wish that I knew who was true

I wish no-one would make me mad

We all have wishes

Most of which will never hold true

We can all wish

But we will never know until we do
